About
Hello! I am a cellist from the countryside of Western Pennsylvania. I have been playing cello for over 15 years and teaching for over 3 years. I am currently studying for my Bachelor's Degree in Cello Performance at Slippery Rock University.
I am available to teach you cello lessons!
If you are looking for local in-person cello lessons, I currently teach at the McPharlin Music School in Harmony, Pennsylvania as a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. I also have previous teaching experience at Slippery Rock University, as well as Youngstown State University. If you want to meet with me online before our first lesson, I am available for that too. In our lessons we will learn the fundamentals of classical cello repertoire, sight reading, ear training, technical exercises, and anything else that you would like to bring to a lesson and play on the cello!
I am available to perform for your event!
I play for a range of community orchestra and high school musical gigs over a wide geographical area from Uniontown to Cleveland. I have international performing experience. I played at the Taconic Music Festival in Padua, Italy. I have also competed at the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil in Drogheda, Ireland performing traditional Irish music. Prior to college, I was a cellist in the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestra, and Youngstown Symphony Youth Orchestra.
If you want to learn how to play the cello and improve on your skills, or if you need a local cellist to play for your event just reach out to me and we can set something up!
